Analytics

The console’s Analytics tab (GET /developer/apps/:id/analytics?days=30) gives you a rolling window — 7 to 90 days, 30 by default — over your app’s activity across every business it’s installed in.

FieldMeaning
installs.activeCurrently ACTIVE installations
installs.totalAll-time installations, including uninstalled ones
installs.newInPeriodNew installs within the selected window
installs.uninstallsInPeriodUninstalls within the selected window
installs.seriesDaily { day, installs, uninstalls } for charting
FieldMeaning
api.reads / api.writesRequest counts by method (GET/HEAD are reads, everything else writes), within the window, whatever their outcome
api.errorsRequests that returned an error status
api.rateLimitedRequests rejected with 429 — see Rate limits
api.seriesDaily { day, reads, writes, errors }

errors and rateLimited are subsets of reads + writes, not extra buckets: a request refused with 429 counts as a read or a write, as an error, and as rate-limited.

FieldMeaning
webhooks.deliveredSuccessful deliveries in the window
webhooks.failedDeliveries that exhausted all retries, or were dropped before sending
webhooks.pendingCurrently queued or retrying

A rising failed count against a flat delivered count usually means your endpoint started rejecting or timing out — check recent deliveries in the Webhooks tab for the response codes (a dropped delivery says why in its last error instead). Deliveries are deleted 30 days after they’re created, so over a longer window delivered and failed only cover the last 30 days.

FieldMeaning
functions.succeeded / failedCompleted hosted function runs by outcome — an event run is failed once its four attempts are used up without success; a console test run, which gets one attempt, counts here too
functions.skippedRuns that never executed — see run statuses for the causes
FieldMeaning
ratings.avgAverage of visible ratings on your listing
ratings.countNumber of visible ratings

Hidden (moderated) ratings don’t count toward either figure. Read the reviews themselves — and reply to them — in the Reviews panel on the Listing tab; see Ratings and reviews.

  • Publishing your app — ratings and reviews come from your marketplace listing, once it’s live.
  • What merchants see — merchants get their own view of your app’s activity, usage and automation runs.
